Getting Started

Upon signup a user must select whether their profile will be of an Event Host or an Event Sponsor. Once an account type is selected, all information should be filled in accordingly.
For legal purposes our ‘Know Your Customer’ procedure includes taking a photo of yourself holding a piece of paper with the current date and your identification card. This process is necessary as all Event Hosts receiving money for their events need authenticity for their Event Sponsors. You are able to sign up without completing your KYC, but your status will remain unverified until the verification process has been finalised.
Your email address and cell phone number will need to be verified in order to use the full benefits of the platform, such as being in contact with your Event Sponsors.
Banking details will need to be added to your profile in order to receive funds from Event Sponsors. These details are entered in by the Event Host and eventsponsor.com cannot be held liable for incorrect information entered in. If your details are not correct and funds have been transferred to the incorrect account, it is the responsibility of the Event Host to rectify or risk being suspended from the platform.
Once registered, an Event Host will be able to build their profile of previous events as well as upcoming events. Add as much description of yourself as an Event Host. This will create credibility.
It is free to list your advert for sponsorship with the packages you offer and with the amount of packages available. Boosting your advert to be featured will come at a cost as well as boosting your event on our social media platforms. There are different types of boosting available to suit your budget. There will be a 10% transaction fee for Event Hosts receiving funds from Event Sponsors. This will be paid once the Event Sponsor approves and releases the funds from Escrow.com.
Eventsponsor.com cannot be held liable for failed events or failed sponsorship agreements; however we will ban any users for fraudulent activity or a failed event where Event Sponsors have lost money. Eventsponsor.com does not recommend that unverified Event Host receive any funds until their KYC is verified so the Event Host can be held accountable.
